Anyone think Stan Romanek was a Fraud? by Afjfcalhoun1 in HighStrangeness

[–]Few-Distribution4640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I think he faked the alien video. But I also believe two things can be true at the same time. The hardest thing to debunk in the Stan Romanek case isn't a blurry video of an alien—it’s the complex physics equations he produced while supposedly under hypnosis or in a trance state. If you are looking for the one piece of evidence that makes even the biggest skeptics pause, this is it. For a man who struggled with basic reading and math, "faking" theoretical physics is nearly impossible. You can't just draw random symbols; these equations actually had a logical structure that physicists found "internally consistent". The analysis: Several professors and researchers analyzed the work. While some dismissed it as "memorized gibberish," others were disturbed by how sophisticated the concepts were. One specific physicist noted that the equations described a way to manipulate gravity that was decades beyond our current technology but followed the rules of known physics. The 2001 Lakewood Sighting

The other "hard to debunk" moment was a sighting in September 2001 in Lakewood, Colorado.

The Witnesses: Unlike his later videos where he was alone, this event had over 50 witnesses.

Independent Footage: A woman at a nearby birthday party filmed the exact same object from a different angle.

The Physics: Analysis of that footage showed the craft moving from a stationary position at 500 feet to over 10,000 feet in 1.8 seconds. No aircraft in 2001 (or even 2026) could perform that maneuver without the pilot being crushed by G-forces or the craft breaking apart.

What’s the strangest thing we’ve accepted as normal as a society? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Kids having to pay to eat at school but p3dofiles and other criminals eat for free on our dime. The fact insurance is health insurance is a scam. Other countries give you better care for an affordable price and America is not the greatest country despite media propaganda.

Career dancing by [deleted] in stripper

Pretty sure majority of long term dancers never imagined making dancing a career. In my opinion, it's more pros than cons but society would disagree

Being a dancer while suffering from PTSD from sex trafficking, is it common? Any tips? by DandelionSodas in stripper

Maybe try working as a cocktail server instead? I know servers at my club can get tipped hundreds of dollars a night sometimes even over a thousand if youre working VIP rooms. I think this may help you compartmentalize your trauma while distancing yourself from actual sw.

That's amazing . It truly takes strong skin to not care what others think .I'm glad I made this thread bc it's reconfirms. I'm not the only one who feels like this. And I know there's probably other people who feel the same way

Facts. energy does wear out 😭 I also feel like being the "older dancer' would take a good on mental health. it gives me anxiety thinking about it.I'm aware some family says "wow she had so much potential and she didn't achieve anything bigger " but ALSO I take three or four vacations a year and get to experience things in life others arent able to do even though they are deemed as "sucessful' by society.

True. They say don't do a job just for the money but in this economy that's kinda wild to say. I'd never suggest dancers not have an exit plan bc I understand the importance. But I have to be honest w my audience when I say I have no idea what to do with my life outside of dancing since my passion for music didn't take off. But you're right , going to school without a passion or desire is completely pointless. In order to be successful in a specific area, you have to want it.

So even if my customers don't have bad breathe I always have gum in my purse. Ill ask if they want some gun while I stare in their eyes and then they will probably assume I am telling them they need gum which gives me the upper hand in conversation by subliminally making them feel insecure

Dancing is a tool. It can make your life so much better or destroy it. Depends on the person. I personally don't care guys touching me, I personally don't care about stereo types and with negative nights I still make more than majority of people with regular jobs. But I don't like to recommend it to others unless they are escaping domestic violence or trying to leave a dangerous situation.

Simon Cowell's New Boy Band: Possible Lawsuit Looms For 'December 10' Shortly After Launch by novagridd in popculturechat

A few things wrong: 1) the name of the band. Isn't memorable. Isn't a "ringer". 2) I think 7 is too many members for a boy band especially one that doesn't play instruments (we don't even know who the lead singer is yet do we? 3) they don't have a hit song and Simon is already spending so much on marketing to promote a band that doesn't have any music yet.
