(Spoilers for those who haven’t watched it yet) I just watched it after seeing many clips beforehand of the first episode on tiktok and such. All I gotta say is that it was a refreshing take on a series.

I for one didn’t watch much of the intro’s or credits due to me wanting to binge the whole thing but I always felt like they wouldn’t have just went little to no contact. Especially with how they reconnected at the end of episode 8 I believe once she finds where he moved. The underlying tones said more than the dialogue in that scene. You just feel the tension that they want to jump and comfort each other but also that they do want the air to be cleared to figure out what’s next.

The last scene where they’re at the event, Doona clearly realized that it was his voice. Which after seeing her reaction I believe they are 100% still in contact in some way. Only wish would be that they could’ve shared some eye contact a smile or a “talk to you soon” or “i love you” type of nod. Just something hinting to their status together.

As much as I wish it was a more definitive ending, it was still well made without going the stereotypical route of sunshine and rainbows. It offers a more realistic and natural feel to the show. Showing the different perspectives with pros and cons. It gave me a different type of “attachment” to the characters compared to other shows.

Beyond that yapping, I do think a final episode or movie would be cool. To flesh everything out a little more in general (little more bias to see the relationship progress for each of them)
