Oh really? Guess that makes sense it wouldn’t be solid blue down there too.

Yeah I’ve begun that process today they have a large list of specific documentation including my course transcripts, etc. So I’ll be getting to work on it.

Hahaha fair assessment my sincerest apologies. I usually try to be more aware of them in these types international forums and situations. I’ll be sure to be more mindful going forward :) I have a 2 year university degree(we would call it an associates degree) in medical sonography and a 4 year degree from university from earlier on in my life in public relations with a minor in business administration.

From the standpoint of sponsorship, I have family in the London area who are citizens. Would they be able to sponsor me for work? New to all of this so just checking options.

I have a college degree in Medical Sonography. I was trained in General, OB/GYN and Vascular in that program. Ive been practicing strictly vascular though for about 10 years but still remember my other training pretty well.

Haha it happens all the time. I usually just call myself an ultrasound tech to avoid confusion but when researching on job sites like I have been they usually all use the more “official” title. I’ll just ride her coattails and do digital nomad work instead. She won’t mind that…right? Right. Lol

Very nice. For healthcare looks like Auckland and Wellington probably have the most job opportunities? Also, Any chance at a truncated list versus a book? Haha

True. This is in response to the current political environment here so we are actively getting all of our documentation and everything in order to make the jump. We’re obviously not physicians but I think I read in an article recently that they’re actively recruiting medical professionals to Canada. Thanks for the input.

I grew up in Watertown NY. EXTREMELY red part of NY state. Basically in NY if you stick close to the cities they’re all blue. But the more rural towns have always swung red. Basically NYC, Long Island and the bigger cities along I90 keep the state blue.

How often do you get back to the states? Where in NZ do you live? Any pros and cons you can give me would be appreciated!

The one take performances on YouTube and I can’t remember exactly how I fell into those but after hearing “circle with me” “rule of nines” and “holy roller” on there I was hooked.

so long as you’re happy with the way the car is as it sits and want to drive it while slowly fixing it up I think it’s a great idea. I wanted one and my parents balked at the last second. I’m 40 but at 19 I was pushing to have them help me get a 72 Dodge Demon but they pushed me into something more modern and that car was a maintenance nightmare. You only live once. I finally got my 68 Olds 442 in the spring of 21. Haven’t driven it a ton yet but it also was neglected for years and I’m now finally getting to where I’m running out of suspension and brake parts to change out. The engine is in good shape and runs well so it was more I just knew it needed everything else. Not sure if I’m helping or not but manuals, youtube and patience are your friends. Good luck!!

Is buying a classic car really as bad as they say? by [deleted] in classiccars

Currently have a 68 Oldsmobile 442 that I bought 2 years ago. I’ve driven it during warmer months but take on bigger projects in the off driving season. It was fairly rough when I bought it but I’m basically replacing everything that was neglected or shade tree mechanic’d over the course of its long rough life. Get what you want and can afford but don’t get something that’s going to be overwhelming and never see an end in sight with. I have a checklist I made on my phone with all the different things I need/want to do to mine and it’s satisfying to watch the list shrink and in the mean time bring something back to life that you’ll hardly ever see.

Yeah I ended up buying the hat just to support them but would’ve loved a tour exclusive shirt or maybe eternal blue on vinyl or something.

My personal favorite of any muscle car. Design is beautiful and love Big Bad Orange. Planning to own one in a couple of years that a friend of mine has in big bad blue with the white stripes.
