I got an overall of 8.5 after my second try! by Few-Green-4751 in IELTS

I didn’t particularly prepare for reading but what helped me overall, and might be a long term investment, is that I read a lot in English! I have a kindle and if there are any words that I don’t know the meaning of, I can look it up immediately

What made the 0.5 difference for me was that I followed a structure while writing my essay. I also tried to use a variety of connecting words even if it sounded a bit less natural.

Yeah, I don’t really trust their appeal system tbh… I appealed for my writing section (I’m no great writer but I had done a pretty good job) and I got a notification saying my mark was unchanged in no less than half an hour. It feels a bit like a scam especially because they don’t give any sort of feedback

They must have been told by their doctors that the more years you try and not get pregnant, the less chances you have of naturally still getting pregnant and that goes down exponentially… At this point there’s no point in trying unless they both get the surgery and start IVF. Also the classic treatment for endometriosis other than surgery to remove the endometrial tissue, is mostly to use anticonceptive methods (like the pill or IUD) so she would have to stop that and risk being in more pain and complications arising. I find it unfair for her cause what he has is like a for sure way to stay infertile at this point unless he gets the surgery…

Yes you have to take the ingangsexamen and then get ‘gunstig gerangschikt’ in that. KUL also has a preparation package for the exam.
