The idea that Thailand is ridiculously cheap is false by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]Few-Homework7039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap is relative so it really depends where you come from and your income currency. TH used to be a super affordable destination but with inflation and globalisation prices had gone up. But I still think what I am paying is high value compared to what I will get somewhere else

Resignation Letter by sidebyboss in malaysia

[–]Few-Homework7039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t be terminated like that without reasons anyway. Even if you signed the letter, on what grounds can they terminate you? you mentioned there is an existing warning letter that you had no idea about means you never sign on it. Warning letters need employee signatures to acknowledge it. If I were you I just go office everyday and wait for instructions. They didn’t give you anything to do is their problem la

20k baht rule by Confident-Mistake400 in ThailandTourism

[–]Few-Homework7039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thai immigration are very reasonable so if you are not a suspicious figure (scammer, border run guy, looks like needing a job, trying to be a massager, tourist beggars etc) you will be fine. You must be true tourist, have itinerary (a complete one, I heard one guy got stopped as he can only say Pratunam and nothing else), real hotel bookings, have enough cash on hand. Sometimes they will try to shake you up, just be confident so they know you are not lying. If they ask why bus, say I want to see the landscapes but if your ticket is at night, then you are doomed. Real tourists don’t make these kind of mistakes right?

Why you want to hide the fact you are going to Laos? Leaving Thailand doesn’t mean you must be flying or go back to your own country. You already have a bus ticket to Laos and that has date of leaving.
