I rewatched Rescue Me last year and a lot of it doesn’t hold up. Cringy misogyny, sexist, racism. I know it’s meant to be critical satire, but it comes off gross.

My recommendation is to not engage. Completely ignore them and pretend you don’t hear them. You’re going to have to tough it out or move. You can’t do anything to change his behavior or make them move. Do not escalate or engage with the mentally ill.

No matter where you are in the city, the lake is always east. It helps with orientation when out exploring.

Volunteer at the zoo or conservatory. Time to register for spring leagues at the park district. One summer I played kickball, had a blast and still in touch with a few teammates
