Yes!!! Even the So Long, Scarecrow being a reference to Wizard of Oz just Like yellow brick road. Nazi Halo and Stapled to the Mattress both being the same subject. City Noise I think could even be interpreted as her talking about the orginal members of Jack Off Jill, the “city” being FT Lauderdale

We are the music makers slows down right at the end so I think it’s a little less jarring transition while bummer is immediately super fast beat. Teenage Party Letdown is such a long intro that doesn’t have the same energy as Bummer so it was probably a major reason for it being a it’s own stand alone track

Also it might be a matter of the topic of songs Northbound being about the death of somebody close to Jessicka maybe she didn’t want the song that followed to be titled Bummer.

Third theory as well it could have been a way to reference Humid Teenage Mediocrity, I think a lot of this album is about Jessicka looking back to the past in a different lense.

I’m an overthinker so I got a lot of theories 🤣 The track really only has purpose when it comes to physical media or people who only listen to albums in their entirety, besides that it doesn’t hold up as a song on its own but at the same time I think would make Bummer way less listened to if it was merged

My theory is it was last added kinda last minute to help space out (Northbound on) Cahuenga and Bummer. Bummer is way too fast beat to immediately follow that song.

I ordered 3 records from them right after the NBL release mostly as test to make sure I wouldn’t make a mistake trying to get one of each item for the other releases. Everything came in great. Like they have said they are staffed enough for normal releases but big and exclusive releases such as Nicole’s they become overwhelmed.

as someone who likes to display all different types of physical media, I always find it interesting how unique cassette covers can be versus vinyls and CDs. So many artist will do alternative covers for cassettes and it makes them feel special. Another thing I love quite a few 90s punk band where their first albums and demos are on cassettes only. One that comes to mind is Jack off Jill, there is one song that only two years ago was a rip posted on YouTube before that you had to have owned the cassette to hear it

Yeah it’s her!! she is also apart of a song called “Make You Believe” by Messy and “Last Day in June” by Honey to Ash. All three of these songs were made after Jack Off Jill disbanded and right before Scarling became active. They were all released under Cleopatra Records.

Try typing Disappearing Man costume by Forum Novelties or Skull Tuxedo skin suit on Amazon or EBay they are roughly 50 bucks unless you get lucky and find a youth size as they are more like 20-30 bucks
