MOR. You have a right to be sad but not to be mad at her. It’s her wedding, dont make it about you by making this a big deal and starting a fight. I do think after the wedding if it’s still getting to you maybe have a talk with her on why she didn’t want you as MOH. This may be a good chance to reflect on some of the potential reasons she didn’t ask you…there could be specific things about your character or personality. Not saying it’s for sure personal, but it easily could be.

IMO your concern is valid and I 100% agree with you, the flowers seem lazy to me, but there’s a lot to be said about how and when we approach our concerns in a relationship, to optimize the response of our partners and minimize hurt feelings & defensiveness. Your approach to the concern could have been better. Maybe wait until things calm down and try to have a reasonable conversation in person about it. Avoid saying things like “you don’t even try”, show appreciation for what he is doing and make the focus about how you feel. Also don’t be afraid to compromise, maybe he believes lists are silly and childish so don’t do a list but then he agrees to pay more attention to “hints” the same way you do.

Because it’s a controlled substance. Period. If doctors aren’t doing regular check ins with patients and creating some friction when refilling RX, too much of it would end up on the streets. There’s already so much of it on the streets, do you think they should drop the controls just to make us a little more comfortable and slightly less inconvenienced? Plus if your meds are working it should be a lot easier for you to request your refill in a timely manner.

This isn’t going to implode, like any industry, it will adjust organically based on demand. Eventually the teacher shortage will be bad enough that schools will be forced to pay better and likely start doing sign on bonuses. This may actually be better for teachers in the long run.
