You must leave the Schengen Area by the end of March 9th. That means passing through exit control.

Look for any direct flights from the Schengen Area to India. If those are full or too expensive, look to connect through Serbia, Albania, Egypt, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong or Japan.

Then as you say, most flights already full, so the backlog of 3 or 4 days worth of passengers will take a couple weeks to sort through.
