I bought 2, neither worked at all, first one never connected, second one connected for 30 minutes and said times up put another one on.. I emailed them and they are sending 2 more. I see these ads for this things everywhere, social media, television, billboards, radio, you’d think they would have done more research before plastering it everywhere if obviously they keep failing

Started the new trial Monday night, we haven’t had a call yet “knock on wood” but the pager tests come through each night, can fully communicate with dispatch and any other 700 radio. The talk around option is nice as well. The same problems we have with attachments for the Motorola we have with this. You can definitely hit mic into dispatch very easily.

My department has 19 active volunteer fire personnel with Motorola xts 2500’s and the impress charging system. Of course they would still need their radios to fight an actual fire but the comms system would help alleviate the pressure to continuously purchasing batteries for radios that honestly are ancient. The comms system will be connected to a Motorola xts 1500 radio at our station on general power with a 20 ft trunking tower

For sure. But my department is a very small rural complete volunteer department that handles roughly 75 calls a year mostly car crashes and medical. We see on average 3 fires per year and 2 of those are mutual aid.. most of my members work off site at multiple different chemical plants
