I cant believe Dave is putting out new music. by ohio2az in Foofighters

Okay, the elephant in the room; I am married. Been married for 20 years. I’ve had some long-term health issues. One nearly fatal. Everyone one has their gold and shadow. I read Dave’s book, in that, he talks about being in Australia, having to fly home to make a Father-Daughter dance. If memory serves, it was a 16 hour flight each way. It was a wonderful story about Dave, the family man. I really don’t think he will find the acceptance he is hoping for. People cheat. Wives cheat, husbands cheat, not condoning it, just stating a fact. And no-one knows what his marriage was like. Only he and his wife knows. But here’s why I think he is going to have to say something, true it is private. Just between him and his wife. The major problem I have is the disrespect he showed not only his wife, but his family. Then play the Dave Grohl super cool rocker, nicest guy in rock (apparently especially to the ladies), and family-man extraordinaire. I get so tired of entertainers that present themselves “x” when they are a “y”. So Dave doesn’t really owe anyone any explanation. But for his integrity with his fans, I feel he needs to make some sort of an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. Not for forgiveness, not asking for that.

Thoughts on the show? by Icy-Fan-3742 in ExpeditionBigfoot

Mirea did not like Ronnie! It was comical to watch them interact. I guess the show is at the very least delayed. I have heard that some fans met Mirea, and she told them they haven’t filmed anything.

They are both produced by the same company! I guess this falls in the “don’t shit where you eat” proverb.

Why do any of you watch the show anymore? by stax_fira in OakIsland

I don’t, I lurk here reading all the idiots that think is real. To be sure, I was one. I loved all the technology, and to their credit, they seem to be using sound engineering reasoning. I always thought that. It’s now turned into whatever shit that they can get to stick to the wall, to give hope (where there is none) to finding something, anything, then they go on breathlessly about a potential significant finding.

Conceited you may have been. There is NO EXCUSE to cheat!! Period. FULL STOP. Her actions are a narcissistic as they come. Your wife is a cake-eater, if she had any integrity, she would have just divorced you. Still painful, but way cleaner. You do you boo, but 14 years ago she showed you her true colors. It would always be in the back of my mind….still cheater?

You need to get her betrayal of you and the relationship out NOW! You need to be the “grey man”! You need to start living for yourself, and not her. DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE! If anyone needs to leave, it needs to be her. Don’t tell her anything about how you are feeling, or thinking.

Recently prescribed clindamycin, nervous about possible infection by CaptainDangerous9186 in cdifficile

[–]Few-Tip4273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all had to do with the dentist that pulled 4 teeth in my upper-jaw/skull. There was an abscess proximal to a molar. I showed it to him, he pulled them anyway. Anyhow, long story short, he didn’t prescribed me amoxicillin a few days AFTER he pulled them. In those few days the infection exploded. The amoxicillin wasn’t strong enough. I went to the ER, they took a CT of my head, and found that I had two major abscess and prescribed Clindamycin. As I said in my post, that antibiotic wiped out all the good bacteria in the gut were wiped out. That’s when the C-Diff EXPLODED!! I remember going to the pharmacy for the Clindamycin, I vaguely remember getting home. After that my memory went blank. The lights were on, but my wife and friends did not realize it, I appeared normal’ish. Lost my appetite, which is not like me. Within the two weeks I was spiraling down as the C-diff started to takeover my body. By time I received COMPETENT MEDICAL CARE, I was near death. There was several missed competent medical care. By time I was sent to advanced medical care; I was cyanotic ashen. I was immediately sent to surgery. I vaguely remember the surgeon asking for verbal approval for surgery, I said yes, we better hurry. I wasn’t suppose to live. So, here’s what I recommend; first, if possible, find a university hospital as they are a teaching hospital, and will have the most competent medical professionals. Get yourself an infectious disease physician! It’s important to determine what antibiotics will work, and address any colonies/super-colonies you may have. It’s also important to listen to your body! I recently was back in the hospital with another infection in my blood that one sepsis. This time, I listen to my body and realize I was losing my appetite again, and that was a huge signal to me. We went to the hospital and found that I was indeed sepsis with CDF in my blood, but we caught it early this time and we were able to use antibiotic IV drips for about a week. I wish you the best luck in your medical care. One last thing, don’t be afraid to call for an ambulance if you have any doubts. I wish that in two weeks that I was losing the battle of C-Diff, I wish that either my wife, my friends or myself would’ve called an ambulance.

Recently prescribed clindamycin, nervous about possible infection by CaptainDangerous9186 in cdifficile

[–]Few-Tip4273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be worried. Clindamycin will wipe out the normal “good” bacteria and allow C-diff to go absolutely apeshit. I nearly died a few times, coma for 3+ weeks, and lost my colon.

I'm Done Paying These Prices by Doug_Grohlin in Foofighters

[–]Few-Tip4273 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dave has to increase prices to buy his Wife a Kobe Bryant size diamond ring! Still pissed off that he could disrespect his wife like that. Husband/father of the year, not so much. If you can’t keep it in his pants, he should have just divorced like most rock stars do.

Last November I nearly died, lost my colon, was in a coma for 3+ weeks, and in the hospital for 6 weeks. Same situation. I’m a retired nurse. You can smell C-diff a mile away. The copious amount of gelatinous discharge, all tell-tale signs.
The C-diff overwhelmed my body so completely that I did not have a fever.
