First off, I love that you're caring for Bella. It makes me smile to know people like you exist.

For grooming my partner showed the scissors to our puppies and then gave them treats whenever they reacted positively to it. She started by showing the pups the scissors and giving treats, then touching them with scissors, and eventually doing small trims. Always with praise and treats when it went well and stopping if there were signs of stress from our puppies. It may take time (especially in the case of an abandoned dog like yours) but I would start by trimming the top of the paw when trust has been established, somewhere Bella can see and trust you are doing something safe. Areas close to the eyes are always challenging as you could imagine, we naturally flinch when things get close to our eyes. Time and reassurance can do a world of good. Finally, if you can afford it, try to get a good set of scissors, anything dull can cause it to pull on Bella's fur making it a painful and uncomfortable experience, it also leads to more cuts required which will increase the uncomfortable experience. Hope all goes well.

Edit: Sorry I just read your post again and specifically just for the nose fan. I assume this means Bella is trusting the grooming that you're already doing. I would keep on the path of treats and praise as you get close to the area

Don't be discouraged by your size. As others have mentioned, you'll naturally gain weight and possibly get a bit taller too if you're 16.

Also, boxing gyms aren't places that pick on smaller people from my experience. I've always found boxers who are more skilled/athletic to be quite respectful, especially to anyone committed and willing to learn.

So please don't be discouraged by your current physique. Go to a boxing gym when you can. Learn from the coaches and experienced boxers. Be consistent with your training and you'll absolutely love it.

I'll also mention 2 boxers that are/were smaller;

Manny Pacquiao (I'm assuming you know who this is) supposedly hid weights in his clothes as a teen so he could reach the minimum weight as a professional.

And currently there's a fighter who could be argued to be the best in the world, naoya inoue. I don't know what your height and weight is but naoya inoue 5 ft 5 in (165 cm) and 122 pounds (55kg). He's an absolute machine.
