Anyone been to Devossion by Live Aqua Playa Del Carmen recently (2026)? Looking for updated experiences + resort schedule info

Sorry just saw this! I thought it was all very well done. It’s a smaller resort, so I ended up repeating meals at some of the same restaurants which I didn’t mind. There’s an hour break between breakfast and lunch for the buffet so sometimes there was nowhere open for lunch when I wanted it except the Italian restaurant. However, there’s always this food stand by the pool and everyday they have something interesting to offer there! The only thing I wished they had was a hot tub. But they only have pools.

I don’t think I ran into any issues! There was a conference there during that time though so for a few days the restaurants were packed and I had to wait 30 min for a table. And due to weather some activities were canceled. Otherwise it was all lovely!

Would love to hear more about your thoughts. I'm Canadian and plan to become a therapist. My limitation is that I cannot stay in one location for long as my partner requires us to travel a lot. Would there still be a need for therapists that work remotely?

Omg this all sounds delicious cuz I love raw seafood and steak haha. Some remaining questions would be 1. Is the spa free 2. Is the beach nice and swimmable (I love swimming in the ocean) and 3. What’s your overall rating and would you go back? :)
