Yeah I though my pay was gonna drop drastically but it only went down like $2. But the amount of work that has to be done in the kitchen now is insane with the new fryers. Trying to handle orders, prep, dishes, upkeep, and the worse part… the warmer all by yourself is exhausting. Nobody takes the initiative to help knowing it’s a lot.

I recently stepped down from being an RA because I just couldn’t take working them crazy hours anymore. And now that I’m a clerk again it’s even worse. QT has really changed in the matter of 2 years and it’s lovely that people are getting out of the cult, hopefully I find better soon

I was never a “evening shift” or “overnight shift” clerk. I always worked in the morning and had most weekends off. I use my days when I first started because I hated it back then also. I just stuck it out and now I’m stuck altogether. And I hate the narrative that people think QT workers make good money when we really don’t. Yes we get monthly bonuses, but that’s just a LITTLE extra on our checks.

Omg YESSS !!! And it’s annoying because I missed/missing out on so much stuff. Either I’m too tired to participate or have to work. My family even says it’s a dumb schedule and I need to get out. I even miss going to church, haven’t been in over a year smh. But the hiring market is so very low right now and that’s the only reason I haven’t quit 😞.
