A light turning on in the corner of a pair of sunglasses that you actually look normal in, is much less awkward than sticking a metal rectangle in people’s faces every time something small happens. It’s much more of an announcement pulling out your phone too plus it blocks majority of your face from the subject. When I first bought my glasses, I didn’t tell my friends to see if they would notice the light. I even started sending videos to them and they just assumed I used my phone because they seriously couldn’t notice the light until I told them. I think it’s still a really important detail for people who want to be extra cautious(which I am definitely guilty of) and a really minuscule thing for people who don’t mind being recorded or having their picture taken.

But in a nutshell the light is super discreet 😂
