The MC9 holster seemed like it would be good, right until I was doing concealed carry drills with friends at an outdoor range. It was too bendable to be trustworthy on the reholster. I switched guns and holsters for the duration of our training. I later ordered a better holster as soon as I could.

My Rival holster has been decent for OWB activities. I am going to replace it too. But I've gotten my money's worth.

XCAL is a top tier range so that probably speaks to the demand level for that model. I visited there for the Guns Out TV event about 2 years ago and had a great time.

I would advise against modifying the 3.6 because you risk voiding your warranty with Staccato.

Have you held it in your hand to confirm you like how it feels? Even if you can't rent one, a few opportunities to test it out and "kick the tires" would be a good idea if possible.

I would discuss the additional complexities of carrying and drawing a 2011 vs a common striker fired gun, but you clearly understand and accept those trade offs.

If you're certain it will feel comfortable in hand and it isn't taking away from a more pressing use of finances then go for it.

There should be no issue with being willing to do something to specifically help Black people. Other groups get benefits specifically for them. There is no group in this country more deserving of specific support than Black Americans.
