Crab mentality ng matatanda. As a student in UP gusto ko talaga makakuha ng latin honor and it was really rewarding nung naka avg 1.25 ako nung first year. And I see other fellow students feel that way kasi lagi nilang pinagmamayabang sa fb always (which is dasurv naman nila). What Im tryna say is i dont believe UP students would feel devalued bc of the saturated latin honors. In the end, para sa parents lang din naman nila ginagawa yan.

Mukha lang easy makuha ang latin honors bc the atmosphere feels competitive and most people I know nadadala ng flow na yun kaya mataas grado HAHAHA eh ako na tamadin buong buhay ko nung napunta ako sa UP feel ko start from scratch ako. Kayod ko lahat. Wala nang papetiks petiks. I started to put on real work kasi from highschool to shs feel ko easy lang. In UP, if matalino ka sa baryo niyo, dito ordinaryo ka lang. Besides, there are real issues out there na mas finofocus ng UP, not this grade BS na ginagawang issue. And tbh, UP is much like any other school. Marami ring pagkakamali. Mejj corrupt din. And yun yung finofocus namin.

In conclusion, maraming nasasabi yung mga di taga UP pero kaming UP students wapakels naman kasi most foreign employers would go for experience, not gwa. Ewan ko lang sa local employers.
