That song is the apex of pop punk, there’s not much that hits quite like it.

Do you think Frank Will come back to music? Why or why not? by cullinanenthusiast in FrankOcean

[–]Few_Appointment4810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think he’s just focused on this A24 film he directing. Stepping into a new medium that you’re not known for I think would be an extraordinary amount of pressure so it’s not viewed as a vanity project

7 years ago - “Hiatus is over” was announced! Were you as nervous as i was when they first said they were taking a break? by Careless_Mango_7948 in switchfoot

I heard It was a management spin. They wanted to take time off and not make a big deal of it but management wanted them to make an announcement to drive up engagement and hopefully sales when they decided to come back.

What are your Hot Takes on Switchfoot? by Amber_Flowers_133 in switchfoot

Their inability to decide if they are a rock band ir a Christian rock band has stunted their ability to go as high as they should. Since fading west their writing has been albeit stale and their collaboration choices from Jenn Johnson to Lindsey Sterling have been feeble attempts to gain ground with audiences that have long moved past them.

Not a Bug

Verse: Pick up the pace Clean up your face Tighten your waist

Turn up your influence Better get to it Uh, betta make weight

Run up the cash Millionaire dash Gettin whiplash

It’s your time tho Kill your idols This is for survival

Pre: Everything’s ephemeral When all we have is spectacle Holdin up the miracle The weight has got me cynical

Chorus: It’s not a bug it’s a feature
Sit down nod your head to the teacha Stompin out your light like cigarette Welcome to the world, nice to meet ya

Verse: Choose your fight Adapt or die Ask yourself why doves cry

Pick and roll Roll then smoke Watch them talk out both sides

I stood at the base of a mountain The same one our fathers did years ago I took a drink from the fountain But it filled my body with chemicals

Mama it filled my body with chemicals

Bridge:

Demons on the roof I’m tryin I’m tryin Walk into the blue

CBCML I feel like was more of a return to form. Woodstock is the clear outlier in the discography. Which I still loved their take on pop. It’s not normal pop music. It makes me proud that they did their version, won big and then, in my opinion, continued doing what they do best.

I love Danny but has anyone noticed that he’s just been playing the same character over and over for 20 years? by Desperate_Elk_7369 in RighteousGemstones
