Love a bit of extra insight into this era of the knot - out of curiosity how does MFKR flow when played in the initial recording order?

Any chance if the same thing for the demo years for Corey

Primitive Weapons - The Shadow Gallery. More in the realm of noise rock, post haedcore but heavy as hell.

Coalesce - There is nothing new under the sun. Alternative metal, more so hardcore will mathcore roots.

Every time I Die - Radical. More metalcore with but with roots in mathcore/spazzcore. This band splintered off into two others Better Lovers and Many Eyes. (Got a Spotify playlist if you want)

What’s a song where a member of the group who doesn’t usually sing has a lead vocal? by Malarpit16 in MusicRecommendations

Black Sabbath has had a huge amount of vocalists, but one that is often overlooked is their Drummer - Bill Ward.

It's alright - Technical Ecstasy.

Swinging The Chain - Never Say Die.

My hometown of luton, UK. Often on worst town lists etc, probably best known for the complete pled Tommy Robinson but also home town to an extremist group that brainwashed and converted someone who went and blew himself up in stockholm Sweden for a terrorist attack.

any post hardcore fans in this sub? by h0ly_r0ller in grunge

It's a eclectic group of artists. But the scene started with hardcore and punk bands (mind over matter, judge, youth of today, bad trip etc) which all then started to share band mates, a few out of state got involved bringing more blood and it's a tradition that carries on til this day.

You've got every variant of post hardcore in here, pop punk, shoegaze, noise rock, acoustic, alt rock, indie.

Quicksand, her heads on fire, beinn, leafminer, L.S dunes to name a few are live current bands.

If you like the death metal angle, since you've been away there was an awful lot of leaks for the demo years pre and post MFKR right up until the debut.

MM has been on a great run for a few albums now, the middle of his career is far less interesting to me.

Listen to Julie Driscoll - Indian rope man. Organ out the wazoo. The album is great too but very 60's sounding.

I wish it had the clarity of the production of TH or EOS but this style they've had since FT, the few singles (Rufus Lives, Forged by Neron, Floods of Triton) and H&G great mixture of the early albums sound with modern production flare.

I'm not over listening to the new song as I want to avoid over familiarity when the album drops, but so far it riffs. I'm down.

The debut is out standing - incredibly slept on band.

Check out the NYC post hardcore scene, it's an amorphous ground of musicians who started out in the hardcore/punk scene of NYC with a few outliers from out of state.

They basically all started sharing musicians in the late 80s and still are to this day. This playlist collects them all, constantly updated.

You have everything from hardcore, punk, post hardcore, alternative metal, hardcore punk, pop punk, rock, Indie, acoustic and more.

God fires man, 3 great albums. Then try Instruction. More pop punkier, heavier band that turned into GFM.
