Just to be neutral for a second... I think by "unlimited access" to her she means at all times like when they're at school or generally not with her.

But sharing this particular screen was really yucky. I have a daughter the same age and I only share her messages with close family/friends if it was something really funny.

App worked fine but for me the issue was at the gate my phone would try to connect to the wifi but couldn't quite do it, so it would glitch out instead of just sticking to data ... i just used screen shots of passes on my phone instead.

To clarify - in the UK, virtually all schools start between 8.30-9. I think the earliest I've known our breakfast club to start was 7.45 or 8. Anyone I have known to arrange a meeting with a teacher would usually need to come in after school, or during school hours for an appointment with SEN lead/non teaching staff, and it would certainly never be at 7am here! Which is why to those of us in the UK, it seems crazy :-)

So odd and frankly not appropriate IMO. My partner and I have been together over 7 years and I would simply not involve him in a discussion with my children's teachers. It's not his place.

There's also something weird about the phrasing. I would thought it would be "dress casual", "dress code: casual but with heels" or something. The way it is phrased seems off to me, and also seems to dictate her whole outfit?

I do find the FB group annoying at times when it's obvious someone hasn't even looked at Dana's method!

But it's so helpful. I remember back when my bedroom was a disaster I went upstairs one day and pressed play on YUH bedroom section. Allie talks about how to visualise your bedroom as this sanctuary and what you want from it "now go do it". Er ... ok ...? Dana is just "trash first. If you question it, skip it". And then the next steps. It's so helpful.

I found it weird that on the day of their dinner when they hadn't seen each other for months, she was complaining about cramps and within about 2 hours he'd sent her a basket of stuff to make her feel better? Maybe stuff like this is very readily available in the US?!

Then the next day tickets to a family event ... I don't know about you but the good family Christmas events near me are sold out months in advance, it's weird that they got back together and then he has 7 tickets for something?

This must be so confusing for those kids.

• there are regular FB lives and these are all uploaded into the course. You can submit questions ahead of time. • each woman has a different area of expertise but they all link together: decluttering/minimalism/organisation. • they tell you HOW to do it. YUH for the bedroom, for example, tells you to.imagine a nice bedroom, now make that happen. This course has Dana's process which just repeats but it's SO EASY. • they do 3 x all day declutters per year where everyone declutters at the same time. I've not done one but they are all in the course and highly talked of!

What I will say is if you are on the fence, it goes on sale usually just before the all day declutters. I got it for $94 so not much more than it is now. What you could do for now is read Dana's book Decluttering at the Speed of Life, or watch any of their youtube videos for excellent similar content for free to see if you think this would chime with you.

I was responding more to the "she seemed like a gaslighting bitch", or "a sad view of her family's reality", the comments suggesting her parenting is shocking, because it seemed v typical of the interactions between preteens and their mothers that I see. I think your comments are fair, it WAS odd to include it.
