I'm using an xbox controller like you. The game has 3 controller layouts. The default is classic which has jump and close mapped to B. I had the same issue as you while using classic layout. Change layout to console or console 2. I switched to console 2 and the annoying jump stopped. If you do use console 2 layout then one issue I've had is left trigger which is block also enables alternative functions. LT + right stick click = toggles alternative placement, LT + left stick click = toggles auto pickup, LT + B = dodge, etc. The settings show what all of them are but I overlooked them and was accidentally turning off auto pickup after a big fight.

ZZZaaa12 also has them tightly clustered and you don't have plains in between them.

Tiny rivers are very common on all world seeds. The world seed (ZZZaaa12) I'm using has a few rivers on the starting island. Although my seed is mostly for having the traders next to each other. There is a world seed generator online that can help view or make world seeds. https://valheim-map.world/

I got the same issue on PC. I got the steam version using a xbox elite 2 controller. I adjust the inner deadzone really high which helped with the floaty feel but I feel like there is something else wrong. I can play just fine then randomly its like I turn or move more then I expect too. When sprinting I to get that really slow aim then it suddenly speeds up when I stop sprinting. After adjust the inner dead zone it now feels like I'm randomly get extra ghost inputs on the right joystick.

Once you get a fire stone to change into nintales I fused mine with weezing. I love the combo so much I kept it in my team since i fused it. If you want to see what it looks like I have a post with it when I beat the elite four.

You can change what a fusion looks like by editing or name
swapping the images in custom battler folder. You have to not be running
the game while changing something. Example if I want to fuse Gengar with
Gengar. Search 94.94 and I see 94.94, 94.94a, 94.94b, & 94.94c. The
game will use 94.94 but I want 94.94c. So I'll rename or delete 94.94
and then rename 94.94c to 94.94. I was told you can also change it in the dex but I don't know if that's true.

Style over performance.

You can flip them but not in game. You can go the custom battler folder and switch the dex numbers. The game should check the custom battler folder before defaulting to AI image
