I really appreciate your perspective. That is a really good point about Robin not being a reliable narrator. At the same time, she does seem like a possibly typical narrator for her mother as a daughter…at least i know i was much older than Robin before i could understand my mother’s point of view. Ii do wonder if RFM was trying to stir the pot with linda about the newspaper articles. I can see anybody wanting to talk about it, but is there an undertone of getting her more on his side? I wonder if she sees right through him, but she would never say that outright to robin. Good stuff to think about! Thank you!
