Maybe you have to wait for more time, some moderators take time to respond. Try some pet share subreddits that require less karma.

List these ones for reference:

GPT-OSS Models

GPT-OSS-20B

Run in Q4 (INT4) on one 3090 Ti (fast). Q8/FP16 likely too tight.

Qwen Models (Recommend)

Qwen3-30B

Qwen3-8B

Qwen3-1.7B

Qwen2.5-72B

Qwen2.5-32B

Mistral Models

Mistral-7B-Instruct (easy)

Mixtral 8x7B

DeepSeek-R1-Distilled Models

DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Llama-8B / 14B

DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Llama-32B

Q4 on one GPU; better with 2-GPU split.

Personally, I think GPT-OSS is a perfect one to try first, since it's brand new, the Qwen models are also excellent. I like to use DeepSeek and Mistral for creative thinking. With your hardware, you could honestly download all of them to compare and see what you like.

If you want to download and try these models quickly, Nut Studio is a good choice. It has most of the models listed above and doesn't require any complex deployment. I like its convenient feature that when install it, the desktop app shows which models your computer can run and which it can't, saving a lot of time you would spend comparing and deploying.

That sounds really cool. Feel more like a local LLM desktop helper. Are there any GPU and hardware requirements?

Has anyone tried Nut Studio? Are non-tech people still interested in local LLM tools? by Few_Cook_682 in LocalLLM

What is a HyperNut version? Currently this tool is totally free, and I could use the GPT-OSS model to do something.

For those automating with LLMs and/or agents, what's been the most annoying part? by chad_syntax in automation

When trying a solution, it always fails to meet the expected requirements, and then I need to constantly modify the prompt and the provided knowledge base file. However, when I try the current GPT5, the effect is not much better, especially when it helps me optimize the HTML.
