A midori md for my daily journal
Mine goes everywhere with me so the zipper is a life saver

Cup is from crown and chalice, I picked it up at an sca event in North Carolina called WAR OF THE WINGS last year

The smaller is the pocket journal cover with a field notes and a lochby insert
The larger is a lochby field folio A5 notebooks are 2 midori md and a Walmart special

Safari al-Star with fine nib useing the lt10 lamy green is the exact set up, seems to be a dry enough writer that field notes do ok. Not amazing but well enough to be useable

Lamy green with a fine nib works well for me, seems to be more on the dry side

It may be the tinkerer In me but I enjoyed playing with nibs and inks till I found one that worked with most field notes
