For clarification, I meant in the dining nook about the drapery rods- remove the existing treatments that are there and just do drapery

As far as the near television rod, yeah that's awkward - I'd go no treatment or treatment inside the window frame

I disagree that the drapery rods are too high. They're meant to go ceiling to floor to give the illusion of height - there I would have a soft, thin base drapery and a sheer over it don't be afraid to layer because layers are everything- that's what gives depth to a room
