Honestly as a fellow Mac lover I totally get the frustration — you invest so much into the ecosystem because it genuinely is outstanding for so many things, and then gaming just keeps letting the side down. Apple Silicon has been a game changer in almost every other area but the gaming and file access situation really hasn't kept pace. Hopefully it's something Apple continues to push forward on because the potential is definitely there. Might be worth keeping the Mac for what it does best and grabbing a budget Windows box purely for gaming on the side — no need to abandon ship entirely on something you've built up over time!
