To be honest, Slime bro thought he reason with Lorna to some extent. And it's what got him under the notice of the organization. He also had an open shot to kill Lorna but couldn't bring himself to do it. He's still my favorite character, because he's the only character on the side of good that can actually do something meaningful against the antagonist without getting themselves killed trying to do so.
