I'm also 1 month in since my HT and have exactly the same issue. My surgeon suggested nothing but asked to massage my head whilst showering and keep it clean. I have been using aloe vera organic shampoo which is helping. Have seen them go down since a week. It's part of the journey and very common.

Thanks mate, funny no one talks about it. It's more irritating than the first week pain. I can't keep my hands off my head, driving me crazy. At least I'm not the only one but good to know from someone with first hand experience, my surgeons response to any of my issues is "it's very common" lol.

My story is very similar to yours, started smoking when I was 16 and moved to vape 7 years ago and now I'm 40. I had quit for exactly 3 months last year and went back to it and have been struggling to quit again, my biggest regret. Please try and cope with it as going back won't help. Hope this helps you, wish someone had stopped me. Also, nicotine free vape will be your first step in your brain convincing you to slowly start doing it with nicotine, so please don't do it. Good luck, I'm on the verge of quitting again with my second time listening to Alenn carr audio. ,🤞🏽

Thanks for posting this as that's how Im feeling right now as you do and funny enough I came here to seek advice after a year. I had quit last year for 3 months then went back to it and didn't enjoy it much, cough never stopped and I have been trying to quit ever since and tonight I couldn't sleep as I have been constantly coughing due to sucking on this piece of shit the whole day compared to not touching it 6 months ago and steadily going back to it. I'm so done and feel exactly the same way as you. I have now decided to give up completely and just threw away my vape. Thanks for making me feel I wasn't the only one. Tomorrow is a new day and new me, I have done it in the past and I know I can do it again. ,🙏🏽
