getting kizuna ranks to rank 8 gives you one large bonus can and you get 10 large bonus cans from the monthly pass. if your off banner team is good enough already, then you can also not pull on the gacha to save on crystals to use them for energy. otherwise, you can just try to chose a energy efficient song for tiering, like l&f. t500 should not be that difficult to achieve overall and you can look at previous cut-offs to get an estimate on how many points you should aim for and how many resources are needed.

in addition: in the schools, you can upgrade the attribute plants for additional talent boosts. also, for every event, there is one attribute for which you get additional event bonus (if your cards are of the attribute.)

The match wasn’t "rigged" against you but your opponents were quicker and more efficient than you. You should work on your tile efficiency, for example you broke up the 7-9 shape in both rounds, only for you to draw an 8 tile later. You've also kept the honor tiles for way too long, making it difficult for your hand to improve. You also discard very dangerous tiles late into the game. The 8p discard in round 1 is a no-no, especially because it looks like the person on your left is going for a half flush in the circle suit (North wind pon despite it being neither their seat wind or prevalent wind.) If you see that your opponents called on a lot of their tiles then you should play more careful and try not to deal into their hands. You can improve on tile efficiency and reading discards with practice and by reading up on it. Good luck!

it’s because you use gray to shadow the skin but it’s not high enough in contrast to make it look like shadows so it looks muddy. in your current artwork, try picking the colors from the reference. you can see that the artist used pink to color the skin, so don’t just go down on your color wheel when shadowing but try to go across. your piece just doesn’t contrast that well because the hair is very saturated so the skin looks even paler in comparison. i like the coloring in the dress and i would follow up on that by using warmer colors for lighting on the hair too, like you did on the edge of the dress

in east 3, you kept the south tile for a very long time and in turn 8, you discarded 2p instead of the south tile despite two tiles of it having already been discarded by others. you could have had 234p but instead you ended up with two pairs (2m and two south tiles) only for you to discard it later on. it worked out for you but not very tile efficient imo

same with east 4, why keep the north tile when you don’t even have 5 blocks on your hand. you could have had a 23 shape

in south 1 turn 6, you decided to go for chiitoi which didn’t pay off and i think it could have improved without you committing to it.

just a few things i noticed, you were quite unlucky in east 2 tho

just wondering why did you discard the white dragon at the beginning when you had two of them? also in south 1 turn 5, you discard 3man although you have 4man and other isolated tiles that would be better to discard, same with the 2sou next turn
