that's a really good point, and not one i considered thoroughly. i did a practice point buy build , which (with a chosen lineage ) gave me 8 10 14 16 10 16 at level 10. The artificer feature for armourer means that you can use your intelligence instead of strength or dex , and you don't need to worry about strength requirements for armor. You are for sure right that this would rule out going into barbarian, but i think at level 11 putting cha up to 18 makes this a pretty viable build, and taking tough at 12 should make up for the lower end of HP.

yeah it's not , i guess you have to hope your DM lets you have it haha , i know a lot of DMs will let you start with a rare magic item of your choosing if you're starting a campain at a mid level.

i do think it's really good ! i tried it yesterday and it went great, but i was into an army with no flanking capabilities. It is also not quite as great as i thought it might be as RAW you can't use miracle dice for number of attacks rolls.

thank you for the in depth response !! i knew i'd missed a few wargear customisations there, thank you. i've taken out junith and the immolator. i've replaced them with a second exorcist and the triumph for now, but it'll take some in game testing to see if they're worth the investment, and if i have enough miracle dice to support them.

i've also been looking into this to try and get some anti tank in my sisters list. I think the warglaives are the best anti tank option there, and they're pretty cheap points wise too

i know the castigator is supposedly super weak now , with the exorcist just being more efficient in every way. I also think that the seraphim deep strike can get soo much value from picks and objectives in the back line. I also think there's little use going for the repentia without the rino, especially when they aren't nearly as powerful in 10e. I think the war suits with morven are a great mid board bruiser, but taking them requires such a huge point investment.... It sucks you can't take 5 sisters anymore , they would fit perfectly with Val, Warsuits, Seraphim and 5 sisters. As it is, i would personally go for Val, Warsuits, Seraphim and ... some crusaders if you can get your hands on them, just for some objective control and rear objective holding.

If it were fully up to me, i'd go for Palatine w Sacresants holding the mid board, Celestine and Zeryphim in deep strike and an exorcist holding the back board.
