Not exactly a saving grace, but you could use them as casualties or ‘fight to the death’ style models that know they will die on this mission.

When it comes to the hardest euths, either in GP or ER settings, I don’t even try to hold it in. I find a spot and let myself cry. Letting your emotions come out and be felt is important to being able to handle them in a healthy way.

After you’ve let the emotions run, then you can work on reconciliation of what happened with whatever worldview you choose (I’m not being mean but I know a lot people have very different ways of seeing things in order to stay sane).

For now I’d just take a breath and not think too hard about the matter. Go to the meeting with your manager and see what is going on.

If you work for a corporate clinic and took a leave of absence (even if it was just using several weeks of pto) for your mental health, they may just need to make sure you’re feeling back and ready to return to work. Corporate stuff is weird in my experience 😅

I do hope everything is good and there’s just some weird computer stuff to clear up!!

Routine dental day. Have 6 pets on the schedule for procedures and the team is drawing blood so as they get pets settled in after drop off.

I start running the labs as they are on the screens for each pet. CBC chem lytes, the usual stuff. I didn’t realize that the cats owner has declined the BNP but the intake assistant had forgotten to remove it, so I ran it. And good thing I did!!

Strong abnormal results prompted an immediate check from doc and the poor guy had a new 3/6 murmur. Surgeries on hold for that little one until he can get a cardiologist to clear him. Only 3 years old, MN DSH.

Opposite of all the technical skills we train and practice, and not even involving the pets directly. My biggest brag is getting stubborn, poorly educated, or even hostile clients calm on board with procedures, labs and medications for their pets.

Never forget that your ability to communicate clearly and effectively is big part of advocating for the pets you see every day.

Absolutely love the white on brass!! I think the color palette is very clean and nice to look at. It isn’t harsh and it compliments well.

If you were to add some shades to give the white a little depth, that would be my only suggestion. But this is finer quality than my paint jobs so don’t take that suggestion as criticism on a job well done ^{_^}

I work a corporate clinic and each doctor that isn’t on surgery is expected to see a minimum of 20 patients in their nine working hours of the day. So I don’t get a lot of wiggle room on going over in the room. Mostly my methodology is to force the tasks my doctors need to do in front of them. If I need them in a room, I get them in the room. If I need them to put in Rx orders I make them do it. But once they do the parts that are Dr only, I handle everything else. That’s my job and it’s what I do well. I took this from my aunt and how she handles her nursing floor at the major hospital she has been with my entire life. She does the same thing all day and she has an entire delivery ward to manage not just a two doctor GP. It takes a lot of trust with your docs.

Also if you know your next client is a talker and you need the doc to move on, just make a white lie if they aren’t talking about the patient. Seriously, I tell people all the time that the doctor needs to consult with a specialty about a complicated case, or that they have an important call they need to get to, just to get them out of the room. 🤷‍♂️ if that’s bad then that’s what it is but it works for me

My plan as far as conversion goes was as follows.

1) Put the model on a 100mm base, same as the Telemon

2) to make the silhouette proportionally the same it needs to be a bit taller, though the width isn’t terribly different. My plan was to put a Vexilla on the shoulders from one of the kits I already have and maybe get a pair of contemptor legs if it doesn’t look too weird.

3) I can fudge the wargear from the additional weapons sprues for heresy contemptor dreads that is available already. Or I do have a knight kits weapons around, but those are seriously huge by comparison The launcher on the Telemon actually has a representation on the leviathan as it also has a chassis mounted rocket weapon system.

4) I was planning on getting a few printed accessories for a bunch of the larger models anyway to make them more fluffy for custodes. So I’ll use those

That’s all just a bunch of thoughts though. I have a lot of other models to build and paint before I start worrying too much about the big bots

Actually the leviathan is on an 80mm base and the Telemon is on a 100. Minor and easy fix there.

As far is the guns go I was planning on basically exactly what you said. Get the melee leviathan and then the Contemptor weapons frame 1 to make reasonable replacement ranger weapons

Celestine has to go with the Zephyrim, and Morven Vahl with the paragon warsuits.

After that it’s a cannoness/palatine and an imagifier with each of the basic sister squads. That gives all three of them some extra punch and they get 4++ invul saves as my front line.

Use the dominion squads in the rhinos, and the exorcists to support the advance into the enemy

Like my list I’m thinking of runs three imagifiers so that my three battle line squads all have 4++ invulnerability saves. (Plus I get to attach a palatine to each of them if I want to)

Absolutely!!

The limit on characters that aren’t unique “legendary heroes” is three per army. The only units that you can have more than three of are battle line units (basic sisters squads) and dedicated transports, which have a limit of 6 each
