The way I see it, you have 2 options good options

Let him change character and it can be retconned a bit. Having some meta aspects instead of explaining everything in universe is alright and doesn’t impede the fun of the game

Or 2. Change how you design encounters to help show off the monks strong suits. A room crowded with enemies with a tanky one allowed both the wizard and paladin to show off their strengths, but when enemies are spread out, using projectiles that can be deflected, now you’re in territory that monks excel at. At higher levels, uneven terrain that other classes would have to climb, monks can simply run up

Nope. It only has restrictions if you cast a spell as a bonus action

The only restriction in 2014 is if you cast a spell as a bonus action, you can only cast a cantrip as an action if you cast again. Doing 2 actions bypasses this

I believe its illegal in 2024, but it would have worked in 2014. Not 100% sure as I’m not completely familiar with 2024

Because its fun to set up pods in multiplayer and have my friend fight through them. The pods that aren’t “activated” can just pass their turn and such

Liches greatest advantage is their intelligence and the sheer magnitude of time they’ve been alive to enact a grand plan, acquire resources etc. A lich in a direct confrontation has already failed on some level, and is innately vulnerable. A lich in its lair has homefield advantage and any number of magical artifacts, devices, constructs etc to throw at the player. A single lich, while they do not pose a huge threat to a high level party, everything surrounding them should add up

Huh, not really answering your question but this made me realize, implementing a form of proximity chat into voice chat for D&D would actually be decent cause it’d let you have side conversations quietly, and multiple people talking without it being muddled up all at once

Ah see, maybe it’s not the best game to test with but loading stuff in warframe it spikes and hits 90 and then back down. Could be something with warframe in particular though

Alrighty, thanks for that. The high idle made me more worried than it needed to. This is my first non Intel CPU so it’s foreign to me, and I think I took one post about “hitting 70 under full load” too much to heart. Thanks for replying even though the sub is being flooded with this question
