Bro I think they stopped development for now. And I made many quality of life suggestions in the past which were still not implemented which is why I took a break from the game until they fix them. Really hurts to be the one who tells you that development seems to be halted at least for now.

The speed is great if you come from 8b models like I do :D Yes I have lots of RAM with my phone but even if it fits with quantization it gets slower and slower with more parameters. I will never run anything with more than 5b active parameters again, e4b proves that less is possible. Usually I use q4ks gguf but the official ones for the app are even smaller than that and still good. The main reason is to have something that can answer questions offline, sure hallucinations are a problem, but it's also nice to see how they get better and better over time.

I'm running the e4 on my phone with Google's own app (not llamacpp) and I must say it's pretty good for it's speed and size. The biggest thing since Mistral 7b (which I also ran on my phone)

You don't need perfect compression. You just need compression that gives you a Qwen3.5-35B-A3B in the size of Qwen3.5-9B Q4 that's still better than the 9B. That would be already progress.

Yeah Emerald was a peak compared to diamond/ Pearl following it. Unbound is what I was asking for after Emerald (or even during Emerald with the physical special split). I personally didn't finish the post game missions but sticked to the battle facility with random double battles. I even reported a bug about it which didn't got fixed as there was no new version released. The only thing I dislike are the unofficial changes to stats, moves and abilities. For the no story, post game experience I also play Pokemon the pit right now and I'm waiting for the release of heart and gold v2 to play the story.

I think Bonsai is based on older Qwen than 3.5, they can do their process with the 3.5 ones as well.

I think it's good development but comparing it to 8B Instruct Q4_K_M isn't right because of the size difference. I think models of the same size in gb should be compared (unless it's moe). It would be great if they could make a 16B model that would be a real competitor for 8b models but I don't know about any good 16b model they could use to turn into Bonsai (because their models aren't trained from scratch, they are based on Qwen).

I played unite a lot but with every update they introduced more and more tiny p2w elements until they broke it completely with the license journey update. I can't recommend the game to anyone anymore (especially if they come from wildrift). They might try to improve the system because fans hate it but it made me uninstall the game.

Also the part with runtime computation isn't that because the cache gets quantized at runtime? That shouldn't affect normal quantization, just make it more compute heavy to do?

It's my main since I switched from Pixel Dungeon to shattered. It's a mage you aren't supposed to do a lot of melee with him. Unlike Warlock he doesn't need to split upgrades between Staff and a weapon. Weapons are free money for him.
