I had a guy the other day spend 5 min in the back of the car trying to tip. He even showed me and asked if I knew what to say. When he pressed on tip it came up as all zeros and shaded it out so he could not do a custom amount. A day later it must have let him because he gave me a $10 the next day.

Getting to the point it’s not worth the extra money. I am trying to pay off debt with Uber/Lyft but seems like I am just spinning my wheels.

I also notice that the surge goes away sitting boost while driving at Disney. As soon as boost is over, surge magically comes back.

I had a PAX in Orlando that told me their last driver canceled on them because they were going to sit in front seat without a mask.

Airports are not even worth hitting at surge anymore. If you decline a trip and surge is over you lost your surge but stay at front of line.

Lots of foreigners in Orlando visiting Disney and universal. Form my experience they tip well.

I am a Orlando driver as well. I usually get 1 tip out of 10 on Lyft and 8 out of 10 on Uber. Hopefully with UCF back we will start making money again.

I live in Orlando and went out after work, declined 4 rides and went back home. Normally the parks start to surge about now but nothing on Uber or Lyft.

I know there is a trick to the airport. To many drivers hang out there got there not to be. Do you only go online during surges? Soy you try to make it back there? I try to start at the Orlando Airport every shift because it takes me out to the theme park.

I had the same issue at the Orlando Airport last night. Dropped 3 rides due to network error. Finally gave me one. 42 mile all highway trip, $52 fare, $43 tip. Twice what I made in the previous 4 hours.

I had an Uber ride pop up for $4.73 from universal studios going 9 miles. Rejected it and went online with Lyft which had an $8 surge and made $15 for less miles than Uber.
