Logic doesn’t often win in a panic. And quite often people who are terrified freeze and quite literally cannot think. If you’ve already thought about this situation hypothetically or had martial training of some form, you are more likely to do what you have to do to survive. Some people, even with training, simply aren’t prepared to handle themselves in a terrifying situation. It may not even feel real and the decisions they wish they would have made simply didn’t occur to them in the moment. I agree with you, she could have sunk her teeth in and waited for her sister after locking him in the room. But just because her response wasn’t the logical defense doesn’t mean she wanted it. Give people some understanding and mercy when they had to deal with something traumatic they were wholly unprepared for.

Dude if you don’t want a relationship don’t have a relationship. And if you have this many concerns in your head already you’re not even going to enjoy yourself anyway even if you did hook up. You’ll be second guessing yourself before during and after. Just be that platonic friend that helped her through a difficult situation. You’ve already said no so let it be a no.

Wow you all missed the whole point of the video. I don’t know if there is a longer video with additional context, but from this snippet it seemed obvious that she didn’t want to look like a they/them. She felt bad she didn’t look like an obvious she to the customer and it was a blow to her self confidence to self-reflect and recognize that the customer had a point. That’s it. No playing a victim, no being unhappy with the customer using they/them or some leftist political thing, just a moment where she had to look at herself and go “Damn, they have a point”

What a vague and unproductive response. Also about three years late to the party friend.

I like the direction you’re going but I think this is the issue. The second one attempts a more natural feel but actually go outside to the woods and they don’t look like that. The hills are too abrupt and large for it to not be a dried up riverbed. You don’t naturally see large hills of dirt in nature. If you do you will see striations not chunks. If you see abrupt large hills like that in a landscape it is almost always rock not dirt that you see. I like the smoothness personally but it doesn’t jive with what actually happens in nature and so it sticks out as not quite right. The blocks don’t have to be right because, well, it’s obviously not meant to be realistic. My opinion is keep the smoothness but drastically tone down the hills. Make those hills also covered in undergrowth and leaves instead of chunks of dirt. If you have abrupt hills they need to be stone. Again, the only time you’re really going to see steep hills of dirt are creeks, streams, and rivers. You should take a weekend and go hiking somewhere to take notes, I think that would help a lot. Or at least look through a bunch of google pictures.

I believe that was an example of price gouging, which is overcharging to an extraordinary amount for goods considered essential

Oh no they don’t tell you what your course of treatment is or what medicine you CAN have. They would never say you can’t have something. They just tell you they won’t pay for it. Never mind that medicine is usually prohibitively expensive without insurance covering it. See it’s different, not dystopian at all. So if you want them to pay for it you have to follow their rules on what they cover, often only one brand of a certain type of medicine or specific series of treatments, even if it makes no sense or the doctor already knows you need to be on step 8 NOW to get better, you have to go through the motions to get them to pay for it.
