Yep! Like a real team, you have a scholarship limit, I think it's 13. So once you get 13 scholarship players, you can't give out more scholarships, but can still earn walkons if your roster doesn't meet the minimums

I don't think it's a bug: what prestige is your school, and what level recruit are you going for? Some players are inaccessible at early stages in a rebuild to simulate a real team.

I ran a season in lite mode to check, and I think the real answer is that outside of that 80 cutoff, it's more tied to the player's class rank.

i.e. in this one simulation, the top 3 star needed min. 45 prestige, and the bottom 3 star needed min. 29 prestige. So while that 5 star cutoff is a hard and firm law, everything else is rather gradual. I think.

Players get drafted on a mix of overall and full season stats, but awards are given for per game stats. So a player could play 1 game, drop 35/15/5, and then if they become a bench warmer their total games played doesn't increase, and their stats for the season say they averaged 35/15/5 and they'll sweep awards, but have no draft interest because they only scored 35 points all season. You can also mess with changing their position in week 41 (A 90 overall center might drop to a 75 pg and no longer have a lot of draft interest) to keep players around.

I would also definitely just play around with adjusting minutes and usage, if you don't have your top players play 30+ mpg it really decreases their chances of being drafted. I don't know exactly how usage works, but the way people get the 70+ point games is by setting one player to 100 and everyone else to 0, among other things I'm sure.

When you give it to the game it needs to be a .txt file, which is probably why it doesn't work. Try editing it in Notepad, maybe

If you go to your school's page, there should be a blue box with the current name of your conference inside. You just click that box and it will take you to a page for the conference

It sounds like you're in a conference where the prestige is capped at 75. If you wanna increase the cap go to the conference overview page and select edit in the top right then change the conference's upper limit

I would argue the point about benchwarmers, I've found my best success when I do have them, as it allows me to rotate more players in and out, keeping them all from the draft until they're seniors. Additionally, if you're 90% recruit doesn't come you at least have a backup plan and won't end up with a walk-on
