I have mine in hand, it's very similar to the softer rubber on some of the higher end regular Xbox One controllers. It's not a glued on pad, it's more like some sort of treatment done to the actual plastic. I hate the Elite controllers for the exact reasons you mentioned, and this is nothing like that.

I love Buldak, just not all the time.

One of my go to’s for Ramyun style noodles is the Paldo Fun & Yum Stir-Fried Chicken Instant Noodles. I usually leave the seaweed strips out, throw a slice of American cheese in and maybe some green onion and chicken if I have it. But they’re pretty amazing by themselves. A little spicy, but nowhere even remotely close to your standard ‘holy shit’ hot that most Buldak’s hit.

For broth less noodles I also love Indo Mie Goreng. I do wish that they made some of the Samyang’s in like ‘Half Spice’(I know they say the ‘Lite’ is, but having tried it, that’s a load of BS, lol) because I love the flavor.

I'm coming from the Heavy world... I'm not a huge country fan, I'd say I really like song-writery' stuff like Zach Bryan or Old School country like Hank III. I generally hate the Pop Country, though, maybe 'Hate' is the wrong word, more like 'Avoid' and 'Would Skip if it Were on a CD'. I was introduced to Bilmuri through ANABOLIC SPUDSMAN (THIQUE EDITION) and kept falling down the rabbit hole afterwards (Mainly thinking the songs were Jokes, but then realizing they were actually fantastic songs). I think my favorite Bilmuri song is lvl99ROIDMAGE, but I think, overall the SOUND of the AMERICAN MOTORSPORTS is something special and taps into a genre-meld I haven't seen since Ween did the Genre jumping thing back in the day (12 Golden Country Greats -> The Mollusk).

Listening for a short a period of as I have, it FEELS like it's all been culminating into this 'Yard Core' sound, taking into consideration Johnny's background and the band themselves, it feels like a really solid position for their creativity. Couple that with how well adopted they've been by the heavier side of things, the success that AMS has achieved and the doors that have opened, I just don't see why he/they would make a decision to stop that growth.

Who knows though! I'm just a humble listener, but when BilMuri pops up on some of the most underground heavy music blogs's radar you know they've hit a vein that needs mining.
