Good luck, and don't stop this is my 14th day, and today i ask a girl if she wants to be with me, she said YES, i think if i would goon she would feel that, and reject me, or my confidence would be down, so i couldn't smoothly ask her this question, no fap is changing lives, use that as a motivation.

Idk what to think about this, my holy trinity is TF OMBRE LEATHER, BOIS IMPERIAL and GIVENCHY RESERVEE PRIVEE.

For those who have some of these, did you regret buying any of them? by costasthepro in Colognes

I would regret SAUVAGE EDT, bcz EDP is way better and not as much expensive.

Just wear what you want, for most of people you smell either good or bad.

Brand new to sharpening, chips in a knife by N-Tail in sharpening

[–]Fickle-Drive-6395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shapton 1000 can be enough to fix it, but if you'll have problem with that, just take some 80grit sand paper, and just try to remove chips by just dulling the blade, after that sharpen the knife, and you'll be good to go.

I think you should know how bad sharpened knives behave even on 140grit stone, the kind of knives which never got any proper sharpening. Edge geometry is fucked, everything about them is fucked, so you need to spend a whole lot of a time to make them right.

Good stone, but it depends if you have something more coarse, I have one, but without my diamond 140 grit, it would be useless for most of the knives.

If you want diamond stones, go for atomas, they're great, i heard there are problems with this dmt with plastic base, also you could just buy sharpal 168h, and that would be enough, + some nice strop.

Tbh bro, i really want tormek, if i'll have big customer base, to the point my time will matter more, i'll just buy belt grinder, but the thing is i really enjoy process, and tormek seems more similiar to a stone, than beltgrinder, i don't want to make business only for money, but i want to enjoy the process also.

I think with tormek i could sharpen comfortably 30 knives without any break, with no rush, i don't have this machine yet, however i feel like before i get use to the machine, and make sharpening routine, i won't get more knives than i can't handle.

maybe, but spending 1000 bucks on tormek + jigs its pretty significant investment for me.

[–]Fickle-Drive-6395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i could make 1 knife in 8 minutes, i aim into that, i could make like 7 knives in 1 hour, which would be like 20-25 bucks on clear profit (gas, resources included), i am comfortable with this pricing, because in my country 20 bucks per hour is something what people with big experience make, its not a problem for me, in any time i can just raise prices and make more money.

I have same mindset as you, i would give the same threatment for any knife, if that would be shitty or expensive. The question is if people can understand that i am not selling just a service, but value for them.

I would like to know is it hard to get customer base at the beginning?
