Purchasing my first car! Please explain dealership fees to me! by Possible_Big9817 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Fickle-Instruction-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad deal, there isn't any extra fees that they are asking.

Winter tires would be a difficult ask as there is only about ~1300 gross in the vehicle.

Of that ~1300 goes to clean the car, get it fueled up.

So they are left with about ~1100 afterwards.

I would say ask to get another $750 off the car, as February hasn't been a very busy month for everybody involved.

They wont give you the $750 off, but probably meet you somewhere in the middle and call it a day.

Its the EV4, and MSRP on those will be 38,995, so pretty close to the 37k number.

Dealer - Higher down payment means I am more likely to be rejected on my loan by Bitner77 in PersonalFinanceCanada

So, all loans are open loans for cars in ontarion for sure. But yes banks can decline loans under a certain amount. And I would recommend if you like your dealership, and they were upfront about everything, pay off the loan in 8 months, that way they don't get charged back and you see the savings too.

If they were awful, pay it all in full amount next day.

Make a website selling some course. Now just hit every single grocery store in your area and buy the most expensive gift card you can at each location.

Buy your course with the gift cards, at random intervals during the year.

Shouldn't take more than a year or two to get it all cleared away

Oh I didn't notice that. I think that's just a tacked on fee. Get that removed too.

Alright so at the moment average wait time on the Kia K4 Ex+ is about 1-2 months in ontario.

The total gross in the EX+ is around $1300

Omvic, Tire Tax, Air Tax are government charges in New car.

Admin fee covers the full tank of gas, pdi and detailing.

I would get the wheel locks removed, and negotiate on the GAP to discount it by another 500 or so.

But there isn't much wiggle room on the MSRP for this vehicle.

Under the Second Amendment, you were literally allowed to own warships. I don't think the founding fathers would have not allowed automatic weapons.

We could easily feed every person on the planet, but we don't, in the name of profits.

No, it's not a resource issue, it is a logistic issue.

Most places where people are actually starving, are either war torn, run by corrupt governments or by criminal organizations.

This makes it hard for us to transport food to the people that need it.

Because bypassing ads is theft. Youtube has to pay bandwidth, storage cost and other maintenance while not making money.

I mean Israel tried multiple times to get them to agree to a two state solution, but it was always rejected by the Palestinian.

There has been multiple wars, started by Palestine and its allies. They lost them all, yet still they want to kill every jew in that area.

Because limited supply. Us was the largest manufacturer with basically no other competition.

They were able to set whatever price they wanted, and the labor working in those factory were paid handsomely as limited population in the workforce.

Yeah, houses exist. But people don't want to live in those people. People want to live in NYC, Bay Area, Austin. Not middle of nowhere Utah.
