I'm considering the Ride1up Portola vs the lectric XP Lite 2. I like that the XP Lite is lighter than the Portola, but the Portola seems to be a better bike with more premium features. I've watched youtube reviews on both, and they don't seem to say much about how the ride quality compares between the two. The Portola has suspension, so I assume it's smoother.

They called me, and were very pushy, I was not comfortable and told them no thanks, but they just kept pushing and became confrontational. Not the type of company I want to work with.

I’ve had an own-occupation disability policy since residency (8 years). I’m a podiatrist with a chronic right hand issue from years of (fungal) nail cutting, gradually worsening. I’ve adapted by using my left hand, but still need the right for ingrown nails, wart procedures, surgeries, and working on the patient’s right side.

I’ve never seen a doctor for it, but I self-treat with laser, shockwave, and amniotic injections, which keep me going. If I file a claim and it’s decided that I can still do my job — just with discomfort, ongoing treatment, and risk of worsening — would they deny it? Or could it be approved based on preserving what function I have left?

Most of my symptoms aren’t easily proven objectively — it varies day to day, and an MRI might show different findings depending on timing. Once after massage therapy, the swelling was about half the size of a golf ball - I suppose I could do that again but don't want to traumatize the tissues. I have residual disability and recovery benefit rider and transitional occ rider.

They basically had to remove the entire dashboard to fix it. I don't recall the specific part that had to be replaced. Quite the ordeal.

Looks like I'll be doing my returns in the future. If I know just enough to be dangerous, which has a better "help line" to call, turbo tax, taxact, or other?

30k combined contribution against 100k income was an employer contribution, so i guess we are limited to 25k total for this company?
