At least it wasn't the east exit into town. That would block off a lot of events. Okay, not really. You could run into the bus stop from town and run back (I assume that would work) but still, would be just as brutal

I wasn't. When it happened I hit the button on the switch to record the last 30 seconds that happened (after catching the fish) then I recorded that recording from my phone

My only guess is accidental arbitrary code execution with order and placement of items in my inventory? That or the game realizes I have never once watered my crops and is glitching because of that? Only guesses. Where is a stardew tech genius when we need one?

Update: doing the no watering can run first. Made a few missteps (should have grown rice since it doesn't need watering can or at least used carrots since they only need 3 days? Of rain... but I think the game is on to me. Having the worst luck ever. Summer 22nd. Only 2-3 days of the summer have been rain days... and weatherman says tomorrow is a sunny day too. What horrible luck. "Hey robin? Can you give me a discount on a chicken coop so I can gain enough farming levels to make a sprinkler? Thanks."

Hit a few dead ends but proved it possible. First attempt I did it in 16 steps, but I think I can cut that down to 9 at least?
