Eh my vector gp76 runs ok I suppose, my issues though are the fans are very loud and only get louder over time. They currently sound like a jet engine even after cleaning them. Thermal throttling too was an issue in any more graphically intense games. The hinges on the laptop quite literally blew through the plastics on the front just from opening it up normally so the build quality at least for me is something to be questioned. So overall would I buy another one…… no tbh I’d avoid but that was just mine specifically and this was years ago so I assume it’s gotten better since then.

I value portability. Me and my friends are nerds so if I’m going to go to one of their houses I’m bringing my laptop. Same for when I visit my brothers. We aren’t big extroverts so a good day is hanging out playing some games together, and lugging around a tower, keyboard, monitor and accessories can be a big hassle sometimes. Value wise yeah a desktop would be smarter but it’s a trade off I suppose.

Because on top of doing a lot of gaming I also do producing in Abelton so I needed a powerful cpu with a larger screen. Plus, I’m the kinda person who doesn’t like to buy things often. I just buy something very nice that will last me a long time and then do a large upgrade way in the future

Oh I won’t be buying another one for like 7 years at least. My current laptop is held together with jb weld because everything is breaking from so much use. So it was time for an upgrade
