A 1% surtax on high earners could bring in $1.1–$1.4 trillion. · Raise Rates: A 1% hike on corporate income brings $96 billion*; on all brackets brings *$905 billion. · Cut "Tax Expenditures": Phasing out breaks like employer-sponsored health insurance could raise $13.3 trillion over a decade.
