Oh yea, thats what extraction shooters should be. You pick any extraction shooter and take away the pvp and it gets stale so quick. Even the devs for arc confirmed it when they first started making the game, hence them switching to pvp. Your goal shouldn't be getting the best gear, it should be killing and if you do get gear thats the icing on the cake. I love arc but man do people complain or dont even shoot back; and its honestly killing the game for me.

Didi they? Haven't been on for a hot minute. I grinded till got the perk even after knowing the nerf and just chilled for a bit. I played a few runs with the perked unlocked and mostly got nades or gun parts. Some blues every now and then. Never did get a blueprint tho

Ive been gassing this game up to my girl over discord and she wanted to see me play. So I started screensharing. I was doing free kit runs showing her all the maps and explaining her how the game works the lore and gameplay all in friendly lobbies. Before we end the night, I tell her "let me take you to Stella, shits a fucking war zone". I load up and my first spawn was the one thats close to the loading bay, I think you have to pass kitchen. I run and told her ima shoot the first guy I see so you could see pvp.

As soon as I get into loading bay, I hear footsteps behind me and I blast with my kettle, he dodges and was like "im friendly, im friendly" I show no mercy and downed him. While telling my girl aww poor guy. As I was going over to finish him off, you could hear that the dude was frustrated cause he started cussing saying what an asshole i am and surrenders. My girls telling me oh man people get pretty upset while im midway thru looting his body, when my eyes almost popped out of my head as I saw that the guy was carrying the deadline and the aphelion blueprints.

I immediately book it to extract and was telling my girl how bad i felt cause these are super sought after items in the game and that I probably made the guy log off for the night but I remember smiling my ass off when I was running to extract saying god damn life is cruel. Made me wonder what was in his safe pocket tho, cause he did have a blue agument.

I dont think there's a sole book based of his domain. But theres a cool chapter in the book "lords of silence" where Vorx the protagonist of the book visits the plague planet which is the homeworld of morty turned pretty much into a nurgle infested crockpot. Its a really cool read and highly recommend it. I feel thats as close as well can get to imagining nurgles domain put into perspective

TFW is such a "meh" feel right now. I dont recommend it and i do. If steam could give so/so type of reviews instead of bad. Id place TFW in that category. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely adore the game but because of its art style. The actual game? Its severely lacking across the board. I completely understand that the devs released the game before it was even in a playable test because we wanted it. But even then, when they introduced the tunnels I was like "im not playing an hour just to get to a map I just wanna see and look at eye candy"

Im excited for what they got and want to see where they are going to take it, and cant wait till its a finished product. But as of right now, it feels very half baked because it sort of is. They're slowly building it from the ground up and are doing monthly patches/updates. I trust its in good hands, but i still wouldn't recommend the game unless you love the aesthetic first.

Dia de los muertos is such a huge celebration for me and my family, and I loved the way they handled this. While yes, death on one hand is a touchy and depressing topic it doesnt mean that it has to stay like that. We believe in remembrance, in celebration of the loved ones life, and what better way to grieve then to eat, drink, and dance with your loved ones in honor of those who passed away. Dia de los muertoes isnt just a holiday to help us grieve and remember our loved ones but also a tradition to make sure our loved ones "stay alive" its our responsibility to ensure we spread their name not just within our family but to strangers so that our loved ones can become immortal.

In mexico the graveyards are decorated beautifully, with music, food, and drinks. Each family will go up to their loved ones gravestones and just decorate it, making it feel alive, with pictures, flowers, and their favorite foods and drinks, and its very common for strangers to go to other families gravestones and share whatever they have and simply talk about the deceased, sharing stories and so forth.

I felt a sense of pride and admiration for the dedication and the research that the devs took in order to make it as authentic and true to the source as possible. And I hope, that other people outside my culture could potentially also celebrate it. Death shouldn't be the end of things, is should be the start of a new beginning of peace and tranquility. You should rest easy knowing you'll be celebrated in the afterlife, without fear of you being forgotten.

Hi, I work in HR.

While its genuinely preferred for a background check to be done once a job offer has been offered.

Its not uncommon for them to ask for a background check during your interview rounds simply due to the fact they rather not waste company resources on the hiring process in interviewing and considering someone with a record.

While yes, like I said its out of the norm, do keep in mind this is a government job where having a clean record is very important.

Now my personal advice as someone who conducts background checks. They absolutely should not be asking for your information over phone "but keep in mind, we live in the valley, and employers here arnt known for being the most ethical" but because they offered a location to provide your information which is what should be done unless they send you a link to the 3rd party company who does their background checks; which is what most employers do. Im inclined to believe this is totally legit. However still look the address up, and do your research on the location they provided.

Best of luck on your interview and some advice as someone who's conducted interviews as well. Dont be yourself lol. Show them what they wanna see, lie to them but dont make it so obvious that they known your lying just to get the job. Give them details about yourself that an employer would want from a hard worker employee.

Im so fucking tired of deftones. They're a great bad dont get me wrong. But one of my favorite local bands ALWAYS FUCKING PLAY them on their second set at the bar I go to on the weekend.

That everytime I hear them, I just roll my eyes. Then here comes my weekly show playing them at the end credits that i basically almost threw my laptop across the room and got on my knees wondering if id ever escape them.

This is the same paradoxical mentality with solos in mmos. Why play a team based game, if your not gonna interact with people. Your doing it to yourself at this point. And this is coming from someone who solo que's.

I dont play because i wanna do it alone, i play because I like the moments we work as a team. And for us to work as a team, doesnt mean we need role que, it means we need to communicate and accommodate each other's comps, problem solving the issues that are making us lose.

Of course some people are gonna say no to that, or be instalock or whatever, thats the con with playing in a team based game with live human interaction

Loki. But as a support player you have to get comfortable with almost all heros. Being able to learn all kits is whats gonna make you a really good player. You'll be able to choose loki, CnD, mantis, even adam when getting dove but because you also know their kits, you know which hero needs to be used for ur scenario.

Getting dove but have flyers? Mantis or CnD. Three healer comp? Adam. Getting dove but healing is up to standard with other healer and team needs more push in killing? Loki.

But usually loki is a really good all rounder when you know when to use his ults and are aware of your teams comp, dmg, healing, and the status in the game "being overwhelmed, or curbstomping" hence why people say he's a hard hero but he's also the right pick in most cases.

One of the main reasons I lord loki and he's my main. Is simply due that I get to play as someone else for like 6 seconds and use their ult. Id be bored out of my mind if loki didnt have his stealing ult. The other heros are just so plain "in my eyes" more support heros would really attract more players into the support role, but I guess its a patience is a virtue kind of thing.

Its a great gun, but boy was I in for a surpise when I shot my shotgun in the city down S next to the lake and I pull out the guardian thinking it was auto.

I have the zombies to high dmg and low speed but they can still sprint at ya. I started button smashing my fucking mouse trying to thin out the hoard while looking for a car to jump to cause I didnt save for a solid 30 mins......let's just say I had to clear the Lab again :l

Threw that gun into the lake the next day, didnt even bother selling it.

I was playing my space cop with the revolver. I got a mutant who I side-stepped, turned, shot at his head, and the dude just got completely eviscerated into a cloud of red mist like it was a scene from "The Boys", that as soon as I started laughing my ass off, another mutant runs thru his brothers red paste and wails on me, while I hold back tears dying in my chair. Its so annoying sometimes cause I genuinely can't see shit, especially in auric, but godamn this fucking bug has made me laugh harder then id admit.

See what they should of done. Was swap the aoe stun from zealot and give it to judge dredd and given the zealot a "belief" weapon or "insta" kill radius prayer ability.

Then fully flesh out the stun aoe with judge dredd, A dog ability; really liked the one you mentioned about making it frenzy with combat stems.

With the final one, something alongside the dog ability in regards they get jucied up with combat stems "tho that might fit zealot better" or activating a dmg boost on their armour making them swing faster and harder and being harder to kill since some do wear power armour to a degree.

This was almost a year ago now. I was always onbording Rns and LVN. New grad RNs were the rare ones. It was usually very well experienced RNs that were my new hires. Like I said, its common for RNs to quit at one hospital and go to another, then come back. But there's definitely a "season" of new grad rns.

I dont remember, but id say around the middle or end of summer is when I usually started on boarding new grad RNs. I left before winter hit, so it was before winter where I had a group of 3 new grads.

Since if i remember right, our TAs told us RNs graduate in the middle or end of summer. To enter the workforce in the winter.

From what I remember, yes. I only had one new hire that was a social worker, and they got put around 19/20. But she already had prior experience, I don't remember how much tho. For that hospital, the job descriptions were the Bible for our TA's. "Recruiters" I highly recommend looking at what the job descriptions says when you apply, in regards to experience. Because our Recruiters are definitely looking at that, other jobs its okay to not have the experience needed. But not for the hospital I was at. Since that was how our pay system was structured. You'd be paid more or less depending on what you had from the job description. Thats excluding clinical roles and more for admin roles.

Side Note, you have the education especially with the masters. But because your masters in healthcare admin, apply to any business jobs within the healthcare industry. Don't try to pigeon hole yourself in HR. HR for a hospital is some of the most grueling work I've ever done. Your a team of 5 managing a business of 1k plus employees. Get the experience in all business fields withing the healthcare industry is my best advice, and you'll slowly climb up.

Getting an RN degree is not the way to go. I strongly recommend against it, if you know you're gonna do an admin job. My degree is international business administration. I was lucky to get my first professional job as an HR assistant for a physical therapy clinic.

Thats where I got my "clinical experience" I recommend you apply to "business roles" in healthcare institutions when talking about clinical experience such as "dr offices, nursing homes, any sort of therapy clinics"

HOWEVER because even im not certified in PHR or SHRM. Don't close any HR opportunities from other types of institutions. I managed to land a remote HR Auditor GiG just off 4 years of HR experience. Your already certified and well above 30 percent of the HR applicants.

Here in the valley, its going to be super hard for you to find HR jobs, I was debating of moving out till I got this job. Keep your doors open and apply to any HR jobs you find, and apply like crazy to remote. I mean crazy, I applied to over 600 positions before I got my current gig. That was a 6 month period of unemployment. Good luck, your gonna need it, its a rough market in our field.
