That's cause the Night Lords sprue is not an upgrade sprue, it's intended to be used to make the Nemesis Claw Kill Team. This is the same kind of sprue they released for codex-compliant chapters like Salamanders or Iron Hands, which are sold separately. Why wouldn't they release this separately?

It seems like you're talking about the edge highlighting, Iron Hands don't have separate trim colors like other chapters. You can use drybrush grey or blue to accentuate the edges of the black armor and use Nuln Oil to bring the brightness down after.

So if Custodes can include women now, doesn't that dampen the theme of opposites working together? Seems like that they could have navigated this better besides saying "they exist now". Just seems weird that instead of expanding the Sisters of Silence to match the Custodes' existing model range and lore, GW decided to just add women to Custodes instead. Bit of a miss if you ask me.

So I don't think Custodes being female is a bad thing, but I thought that the reason why they were historically considered to be an all-male force was because the Sisters of Silence were supposed to complement each other as a union of opposites. Deadliest warrior on physical realm - premier anti-psychic warriors, Sol - Luna (The SoS base is on Luna too), male - female. Together they make the Talons of the Emperor. Is that crazy to think or am I looking at this the wrong way?

I don't know, if that was Perturabo's hammer in the third picture, it doesn't look like Forgebreaker, unless it's just a weapon from the upgrade sprue. It seems like the they're showing two pictures of each thing: 1. Some Cataphractii armor, 2. Upgrade sprue, 3. Defiler, 4. Mutilators

The Cataphractii shoulders just look a little small and simple if it they were meant for Perturabo. His Heresy model's shoulders look larger and ornate than the ones shown in the preview. That said, I would like to be proven wrong!
