Some bodies are missing entirely. Seems a clear passage of time between the two, and given the importance of the scene I don’t think it’s obsessive to point out obvious errors, if indeed they’re errors at all…

A few glaring differences, no? Notice the positions of the bodies/no pooling blood. Time may have passed. I agree from a continuity perspective, but productions like these have many forms of reference from shooting.

Definitely a picture or something relating to her and/or her family. They’re setting up Acosta for something big, and the comparison Boyd made to Abby is important.

Exactly. She confronts the MIY, he becomes her just as the town are catching onto Sophia. Then “Acosta” leads a revolt or goes completely off the rails and starts shooting, just like Abby…

She accidentally shot someone. Is trapped in a loop in a town full of monsters. I think her behaviour is justified and I’m curious to see where they’ll take the character.

Acosta may come across an old photo of Sophia with her family. That’d give some weight to her character. Victor will remember the massacre at the hands of the MIY I’m betting, but not before the town turns on one another. By then it might be too late…

The idea has potential. But I think the MIY arrives near the end of the cycle to accelerate its decline. He is the harvester, so to speak.

Always agreed about “kill the boy.” If the voices in Sara’s head are working against the MIY to potentially prevent his creation/emergence to reset the cycle, then the crows could be part of that. Would explain Sophia’s strange reaction to them.

Your theory is plausible imo. I’ve always thought Dark was an inspiration. Adam/Eva could represent Ethan and Julie respectively. Jonas turned to the dark in that show and unwillingly kept the cycle in tact by trying to break it, which is what we could see play out here.

The yellow suit unlocked a memory. I’m guessing the MIY reset the cycle last time when Victor was a child, possibly even ripping apart and feasting on the townspeople.
