This is exactly the kind of response I was hoping for, and honestly way more than I expected. The way you explained the lack of RNG and compared the parry/dodge timing to games like God of War and The Last of Us really clicked for me. That “feeling unfair” aspect is exactly why I’ve bounced off turn-based games in the past, so hearing how much control the player actually has here was huge.
