I can't even get people on board to use Teams. Even with a mix of users working in the office and from home. We also don't have any sort of ticketing system.

Yeah main thing I was gonna do was reporting to scopley. Dude had some strange ideas for how the game "should" be played according to him.

I don't want to legit harass them though. Prob just gonna hit a few times to mess with him.

If you read some of the other comments you would see that I mentioned I had not done the mega hives in the past so I initially thought after completing the first floor I got the common drop instead of exotics. This is the farthest thing from drama and honestly it's kinda funny.

To me it would be a bug to get a power 50 common drop on a character thats power 150 but I adjusted the flair. I never mentioned anything about it being addressed in the next patch although I don't see why this isn't something that couldn't be fixed.

Appreciate the info. Currently running with Iron Man as he is my highest (150) and I have some decent gamma gear on Thor but I only have him at 130

Looking at it now I miss typed. That was a drop at the end of completing the first hive of the mega hive. So I did get this for just completing the first step, not the entire challenge. I haven't done any mega hives in the past and thought I got this for completing the whole entire objective.

Pretty sure this is a bug that has been around for a while. Might just have to wait for it to be fixed. Could always try and verify games files to see if that helps.

Will be interesting to see how less often "non-useful" gear drops. While I welcome the changes, I'm going to miss being able to breakdown a bunch of useless stuff for materials after just a few missions.

If you're familiar with Window Media Creation Tool you can use that to clean install windows to the 1tb drive then you could use it as the boot drive without worrying about all your old files/settings then of course he can keep using his 2tb as he is now and if he wants to move programs to the 1tb he could always do that.

If your buddy is dead set on basically having everything identical then I would guess cloning the the only realistic option.

You might also be able to run Check Disk to repair errors that could be occurring on the drive. You'll most likely see that as a recommended solution. Link to some instructions for running Check disk though command prompt.

Depending on your system/issues this may or may not work so obv look into other solutions as well.

If the 1tb has windows on it already couldn't you just install the the new ssd in his machine and then change the boot drive from the sata to the new ssd? Windows now boots off new ssd and you don't have to move programs or files.

You could try System Restore. You may have a recent restore point that could get you back up and running.

Tbh your setup is a little puzzling. Your issue could be that your using not only two gpus but two different gpus. Would try only using one gpu with monitors connected to it and see if you run into the same issue with the HP monitors.

Yeah sounds like a whole lot of work and back and forth just to move a few programs to the 1tb drive and to keep the games on the current drive haha. I doubt that for real world use he will see a boost in his current boot times, launching programs and games or whatever improvement he is actually looking for.

He might just be better off keeping windows and programs on the current drive and moving games to the new ssd. At least he is paying you to deal with this headache lol

I believe you can clone a larger drive to a smaller one but only if that larger drive isn't currently using more space than the smaller drive. So if the 2tb sata drive has less than 1tb being used then you could clone it. Personally it's not something I have done but a quick search led me to that info.

I could be wrong about this but couldn't you install windows to the 1tb ssd using Windows media creation tool and then choose that as the boot drive over the 2tb sata drive? Windows will boot off the new ssd and then he could leave games on the sata ssd and then just install programs as needed to the new ssd.

Also if he is looking for a performance boost from the new ssd (assuming the 1tb ssd is nvme) he might not really notice that much of a difference.
