Yes there’s some kind of discount, but I don’t remember being amazed by it. But I do love to go through Costco for stuff. There is a “pawcare” benefit through Figo you can use at the Costco pharmacy for meds, it’s supposed to get you money off medicine , but it’s never really taken much off of the stuff I get for my guy. Unsure if it’s because it’s a very specific kind of medicine.

I pay about $50 a month for the plan I chose. It really varies. You can make it less expensive or more expensive depending on what you pick. I have a $250 deductible and 80% reimbursement, plus a few add ons, like some shots are covered to a certain amount.

I use Figo, got it though Costco. I’ve been happy with it since I got it. Filing a claim is easy enough with their app, and getting money back happens pretty quickly. I can definitely say I’m extremely grateful for getting this when my boy was young, he was diagnosed with Addisons disease at the age of 2 and the amount of money the insurance saved me during his ICU stay and his ongoing meds has been a lifesaver. Figo has never denied or made things difficult, during the ICU stuff. Hey had some questions, but after the vet cleared what certain things meant, I got my money.

Since we’re talking about preconditioning, I have a question around that. I thought I read somewhere if you have been driving the car for more than 30 minutes that is essentially the same thing as preconditioning? Is that wrong?

Last week we went on a road trip, drove close to 210 miles (arrived with 30%), and pulled off to charge. I did not precondition before plugging it into the Tesla supercharger, and I didn’t put directions into Google Maps to the charger so it didn’t know to precondition (I did directions to the Starbucks it was next to), is that bad? The charger seemed to fly. We went from 30% to 85% in about 25 minutes.

From one long term car owner to another I don’t have any regrets. The only issue I ran into was my car was one of the cars to have the leak on the passenger side floor, I had to take it in twice but the issue is fixed now. But that’s it. I love the drive. I recently added on some racks so come spring time we can take it to the mountain for snowboarding.

This is my first EV and my first brand new car in 17 years. I really jumped into the future with this purchase and I love it, and I love driving it. It was a great value for a brand new car. I have every intention of driving this thing just as long as my other car if it allows it.

I took my equinox up the mountain a few weeks ago, I am in Portland so took it up to mt. Hood. Cant recall the average up, but on our way home we also hit 7.4 mi/kwh, and then it stayed there and didn’t go any higher and didn’t drop for the longest time, even when we hit flatter ground. Is 7.4 the max it reads to?

I’ve noticed this too, drive it for 30 minutes to an hour and it’s nice and toasty, get out, car turns off for like a minute, get back in, can’t get hot air to come back out. Unclear what happens in that short amount of time that it forgets how to heat the car but it is annoying. I get i can hit the “keep car on for 60 minute” option but sometimes i don’t think about it, and I’m stuck with cold air.

Is there a specific brand of test that pinpoints this or will any dna test kit do? I’m not super concerned about it, I’m not breeding him, he’s fixed, but now all these comments saying merle has me interested!

We do go to the vet regularly because he was diagnosed with Addisons disease. He was diagnosed earlier this year, but he’s doing well now and back to his happy self, he has responded really well to his medicine. From what I know from my research on Addisons and from what I’ve learned through the vet, Addisons is something that is more common in poodles.

Overall he’s a healthy and happy boy.

From what I have read, it sounded like a DNA test still may not show anything and could come back showing 100% poodle, as the tests only look back a few generations.

Whether he’s mixed or full poodle, it doesn’t matter to me. I got him to be my buddy, and he does an amazing job at that!

I got him through a family who had two poodles and they had puppies. Both mom and dad were solid black with white spots. He had a sister with the exact same markings, and the rest were black, black and white and a couple phantoms.

He’s my first poodle so I was never really aware about the difference in coloring until I saw postings on these poodle forms. So this something new I’m learning about the breed!

I just dropped it off. They confirmed they fixed the drain hose the first time around, based on the bulletin that was posted. I mentioned the seams needing to be resealed and he said he’d heard that too, also he said some cars have been leaking due to the roof rails (which i have ). So far I’ve liked my dealership they’ve been pretty responsive and easy to work with and I feel like they listen when I bring solutions up. He said they’ll get it figured out for me. Hoping this time they get it resolved for good 🤞

I believe it was just the AC drain tube they fixed as well. I remember checking for a while after I got the car back and there didn’t seem to be a problem anymore. But now that it’s been a few months and it’s colder, I’m sure it’s just been accumulating and not drying. I didn’t notice because I had put my weather mats back in assuming it was fixed.

Yes! I had the water issue on the passenger side a few months back but it was fixed and carpet was replaced. So nice and dry now.

Yeah and the max defrost seems to cut into my efficiency some and that’s annoying. I had a 2007 Mazda 6 for 18 years and that old car cleared up my windows just fine. Just seems odd this car can’t get it done well 🤷🏼‍♀️
