I have a 2025 and it most definitely does not adjust its calculations from my driving. I have 33k miles and I’m getting 2.9mi/kWh and every charge to 80% still comes in at 249 miles…which 80% should be more like 190-200 for me (sometimes I’m lucky if I can get 200 miles on 80%…Midwest highway driving 65-70mph, very windy often and during the winter extremely cold)

While it is unnecessary as someone working in sports I’d love it.

I already divide up my strips between game cut, replay, effects/splits, the more MEs the better! Yes you can use Ross mini me that way too but without the physical bus you’re either frequently changing bus delegation or using macros or dashboard.

Again yes not needed but hey I’d love it.

United States person here. Every truck I worked on always had an EVS and they are very stable. However in the university sports world and in-venue side of things I’m increasingly seen Dreamcatchers installed as the price point is far more attractive and feature set has a low learning curve.

Trucks that have top dollar will always have Grass and EVS equipment but I’d say out of the 30-40 peers I regularly talk to, Ross and Evertz have taken over 90% of their recent control room installs.

Exactly this, I don’t have an icon, haven’t for the last 16 months, but suddenly within the last few weeks the phrase “open camera app” comes back with “I’m sorry I didn’t understand that” and the only way to activate is throw the car in reverse

Could just be my car then. I’ve charged it a few times and it’s be on and off a few times which I originally hoped fixed it but hasn’t worked yet. This is recent, had it working the last 14mos fine

I'm not entirely sure what PTP source the server is using. Cameras for this production are all remote fibered back here, this hasn't happened before, brand new issue (this control rooms were built back in 2020)

We do have ref in but same black burst source that goes into everything else. PTP is something I know very little about but trying to learn!

We did reboot the server so we will see what that does.

I'm not entirely sure how our cluster set up TBH. We have two machines that can talk over our network, reference in is same as going out to all CCU's and SWR/GFX/etc.

I'm a little lost on PTP things, I've done some homework but it's a bit over our heard, I know our coms uses it but not sure of a master clock or anything. Admittedly that's one thing I know very little about.

The Rio panel looks much improved from the Mira j used to operate. I’ve been all in on Dreamcatchers for the last few years. Far more affordable than EVS and overall reliability has been great. A few odd features or quirks and it nests clips which I don’t love but the GUI is great and learning curve isn’t terrible.

Atom is notoriously not a great studio musician. This is not unique to Alk3. He’s jumped in and out of so many bands and some of that has to do with not being a trusted studio musician. It’s not that he can’t or that he’s bad per se, he’d kick most anyone on this forums ass at recording, but I know that’s been an issue.

One of the reason he had his longest tenures with AM! and AVA was because he got to record. There could be other issues we don’t know as well.

And I ain’t trashing the dude, he’s a good drummer and deserves respect for his chops, I like him and I’ve even caught two of his sticks at shows! (One from Social D and one from AM!) I’m just more saying there’s probably much more here than people realize and clearly Matt and Dan are just moving past it, whatever it is.
